Early Childhood
During a child’s early years (2-6 years old) they undergoes a great deal of mental development and social development. In particular, identity is formed in early childhood and the child learns how to function in a social setting. As well, a child learns about aggression and prosocial behaviour. Parenting is important at this stage of development, as well as community influences.
